We’re excited to announce the return of the Annual Chances Casino Light A Moose Radiothon in support of the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation from November 19th -21st!

We’ll be broadcasting live from outside the casino, bringing the community together to raise funds for a critical cause: improved patient care at the Fort St. John Hospital.

This Year’s Goal: $150,000 for 3 new pieces of technology for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

The ICU is a vital component of our community’s healthcare, offering life-saving interventions for patients in critical condition. The ICU in the FSJ Hospital serves patients throughout the Northeast (Fort St. John, Hudson’s Hope, Dawson Creek, Chetwynd, and Fort Nelson).

With our ICU now functioning at full capacity, it is more important than ever to ensure our skilled healthcare professionals have the tools they require to save the lives of our loved ones. Keeping our loved ones closer to home in times of need. To ensure our ICU is equipped to meet the growing needs of the community it would greatly benefit an Ultrasound with a thoracic probe to ensure accurate and immediate heart monitoring, a Transport Monitor to ensure patients requiring to be transported within the hospital for further diagnostics are monitored in real time while in transport and undergoing further diagnostics such as MRI’s and CT scans and a Temperature Management System to maintain optimal body temperatures during recovery.
